This course combines several elements of effective teaching and learning in a series of best practices that beginning teachers should work to master as quickly as possible.
It builds upon the practices of tiered instruction and curriculum compacting. Elementary and middle school teachers use a broad range of instructional approaches, targeted to specific ages and abilities, to differentiate instruction and facilitate greater learning.
This course provides the methods for teaching the various content areas within elementary curriculum. You will demonstrate your understanding and mastery of the coursework by creating full lesson plans that showcase your learning during the elementary graduate program at the end of the course.
